Emmanuel Chenze is a multimedia professional currently serving as Africa Uncensored's Chief Operating Officer.
He has over a decade of experience in digital media. Over the years, he has been tasked with getting Africa Uncensored’s products to as many people online as possible, managing to grow the brand’s reach to over a million people monthly.
In his role as the COO of Africa Uncensored, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, strategy, business development as well as looking after the organization’s technology and infrastructure needs.
He has been instrumental in formulating key strategies for the company as well as growing its technical and innovative spirit which can be seen in various products that include an SMS-based news crowdsourcing platform and Wizileaks, a corruption indexing platform. He was the founding editor of Piga Firimbi, Africa Uncensored’s data and fact-checking platform.
