Nic Newman is Senior Research Associate at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism and is lead author of the annual “Digital News Report”, the largest ongoing global study of news consumption. He also authors an influential annual report on media and technology trends and has written extensively about the role and impact of social media, and trust in news. Nic has a background as a journalist and was a founding member of the BBC News website as well as head of product and technology for BBC News.
